Dressing Up the Dessert Table

With Christmas only days away, the stress of makin’ sure everything is in tip top shape for our meemaw and papaw, aunties and uncles, can seem like such a daunting task. However, there is no better feeling than seein’ everyone gathered together enjoying all those goodies you have worked SO hard to prepare.

After spending hours nailing your families’ fav treats like memaw’s famous pecan pies or the kiddos favorite chewy chocolate chip cookies, you’ve got to take some extra time and display them in a festive fashion.

We’re sharing a few simple ways to make sure your desserts don’t go unseen by creating a festive dessert table perfect for the holidays.

1. Flaunt those sweet treats!

Whether having a mix of home-baked and store-bought baked goods, make these goodies look like a million bucks by simply putting them in decorative holders.

Place sweet sugar cookies on classy silver serving trays, use festive cake stands to display those red velvet cupcakes, or even consider using colorful baking cups to leave behind less mess and hold even the smallest truffle treats.

Santa may be comin’ to town just for your table!

2. Dressin' drinks up!

If you’re havin’ a sweet hot cocoa bar or whippin’ up your best eggnog recipe, have your guest running to those tasty drinks by dollin’ them up a bit.

Place your drinks in special glass bottles or mason jars and dress them up with festive glitzy ribbons. Finish them off with a chalk label or a candy cane colored straw for the holly jolly touch.

They won’t be able to resist!

3. Add the finishing touches

Polish-off the dessert table by adding eye-catching decor.

Spread holiday joy by adding festive banners to label each section. You can also spruce up the table by placing a few LSL bouquets throughout the spread in decorative containers, labeled with your fav’ holiday phrases like ‘tis the season or Merry Christmas, to share those fuzzy feelings.

If you're going to spend all that time baking these delicious treats, don’t forget to show them off.

We hope that you're inspired to create this whimsy holiday dessert spread.
