‘Tis the season for Christmas tree decorating, gift wrapping, and showin’ our big Texas hearts. We love looking for ways to add a little personality to our presents with DIY gift toppers.
Y’all might already have some of the items lying around the house, like Kraft paper, ribbons, and ornaments. Pine and flowers from our December Lonestar Living bouquet will be the final unexpected touch!
Here are three DIY Gift Topper ideas that will help add a little flair to your gift wrapping game.
Inspired by making a winter wonderland come to life, we embrace all the amazing snow feels and set the tone by decorating with all white. Use white Kraft paper, spray paint any ol’ ornament you have laying around, like a snowflake or star, and top it with a white bow.
Add a pine stem from our December bouquet for and spray paint it white for that all-white vibe. Voila! You now have a festive modern frosty gift topper.
KEEPIN’ IT TRADITIONAL
Y'all can’t go wrong with stickin’ with the traditional colors we all have grown to love. Give any present that classic cozy feel by decorating with a satin red ribbon, wrapping with holiday or plain Kraft paper, and topping off a little pizzazz with a hypericum and pine stem from our December bouquet!
Traditional is never a bad idea!
Add some twinkle to your present to give it that glam look. Use small metallic ornaments, gold burlap, satin or printed ribbon, and classic Kraft paper with metallic accents to make your gift dazzle. Skip the hot glue gun and use double-sided tape to hold your ornaments together on the wrapping/Kraft paper.
The art of gift wrapping is no stranger to us Texas women. It’s all bout’ those lil’ extra touches!
